Dr. Elizabeth “Lizzie” Adam is a sixth-generation Central Coast native whose love of animals began early, helping at her grandmother’s farm and raising animals through 4-H. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Since 2018, Dr. Adam has practiced exclusively in emergency medicine, where she finds great fulfillment in providing critical care to pets when they need it most. She is especially proud to serve the same community where she grew up, helping local families and their animals during times of urgent need.
When she’s not at the hospital, you can often find Dr. Adam at Avila Beach with her daughter or walking their dachshund, Pickles, along the Bob Jones Trail.
