Dr. Beth Saldana is a Houston, Texas native who knew from an early age that she wanted to dedicate her life to caring for animals. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Arkansas before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating at the top of her class. She completed her clinical training at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Following veterinary school, Dr. Saldana practiced in both North Carolina and Colorado, gaining extensive experience in small animal medicine and surgery. These diverse experiences helped her develop a special interest in emergency and urgent care, where clear communication and compassionate decision-making are vital.
In 2025, Dr. Saldana and her family relocated to California’s Central Coast. She is excited to serve the community by providing much-needed emergency veterinary care to local pets and their families.
At home, Dr. Saldana and her husband are raising their young son alongside a lively household of pets: Milo, an energetic Australian Shepherd; Riley, a husky and parvo survivor; and three cats—Ollie, Emerald, and Timmy. She credits her own pets with reminding her daily of the powerful bond between people and animals, a perspective that deeply influences her work.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Saldana enjoys exploring the Central Coast with her family, hiking scenic trails, and finding new ways to enjoy the outdoors with both her two-legged and four-legged companions.
